Raised On Rhythm And Rhyme is a roots/rock collection of 13 new Chris Frye original songs.
The album was produced by Chris and the unstoppable Joby Baker, and it features guest performances by some of Canada's top roots artists, including Mae Moore, Ruth Moody and Nicky Mehta of The Wailin' Jennys, Oh Susanna, Lester Quitzau, Steve Dawson, and Kevin Fox.
The album captures Chris' West Coast lyrical imagery in the context of some very groove-driven, warm, and seductive sonic landscapes. |
